Rated 5 out of 5 by AL Nice knife I wanted a pocket knife with assisted opening and half-serrated blade. I found this one and I love it. It took a little time to get it to open smoothly as the spring felt stiff at first, but after a couple weeks, it opens easily, quickly, and locks with the thumb button rather than the release that puts my finger in line with the blade. The blade, being tanto style, is thick and feels sturdy, and very sharp out of the box. I like the pocket clip going all the way to the end so nothing sticks out of my pocket to snag things (previous knife's problem). I've had a few Gerbers before, some better than others, and this one feels like a good one. August 25, 2015
