But, we know the importance of true hand forging and this blade is hand forged at over 1000 degrees and has been folded over 2000 times. When we say Damascus…we are serious. The blade is true Damascus steel and equipped with heavy blood groove. The solid hardwood handle offers genuine ray skin with nylon cord wrapping and a cast zinc tsuba. The hardwood sheath offers a safe house for the blade when not in battle. 27 3/8" blade, 39 1/4" overall
